Do you have kittens available?
YES! Catalina and Merlin's "Patriotic" litter was born June 30th, 2025. We have 2 males and 4 females, and the majority are black smoke! Kittens going-home date is between age 12-16 weeks, unless kittens are weaned and mom tells us sooner she's had enough!
To be the FIRST TO receive updates on our cattery, our cats, future pairings, expected litters, litters born, etc., you can sign-up by entering your email address in the "subscribe" section near the bottom of our home page. Are your Maine Coons pure-bred and pedigreed?
YES, we do not breed or sell unregistered, un-pedigreed cats or kittens. All of our Maine Coons, whether of breeding age, or being held as potential queens/kings are registered through either T.I.C.A (The International Cat Association) or C.F.A. (the Cat Fanciers Association). We are also registered with the W.F.A. (The World Feline Association) although we do not have any cats with them at this time. Tiny Titans Cattery is also registered with the State of Ohio, entity #5429779.
As there are so many kitten scammers out there, we, at Tiny Titans Cattery, want to assure you that your trust in us is paramount. When you get a kitten from us, you are dealing with a legitimate, small scale breeder. All of our cats live in our home and our kittens are brought up "under foot" with us. Our adults receive with interaction with us (playing fetch and "catch"!), have environmental enrichment with climbing trees and towers, numerous toys, an exercise wheel, and for extra stimulation, access to a wire mesh, outdoor enclosure, safe from predators. We want you to be confident that you can place your trust in us! Check out our social media pages to see photos and videos of our cats/kittens!
How big will my kitten get?
Honestly, we can't tell you that! What we CAN say is that they will undoubtably be larger than a normal domestic cat. To explain- Maine Coons mature slower than other domestic cats and do not reach their full size until they are 3 to 5 years of age. And while genetics plays a huge roll in how big your kitten will be when it is fully mature, there are other factors that also play a part, such as; exercise & activity level, gender, time relative to age when the kitten is spayed/neutered, and most importantly, diet & nutrition. Not feeding a diet nutritionally appropriate for a Maine Coon, or one that doesn't have a high enough protein percentage- can actually stunt a cats growth and development. As a Maine Coon matures slower, that also means it needs fed kitten food for longer than other domestic cats. One word of advice though- doing research on the "best" diet for a Maine Coon- will take you down a rabbit hole of conflicting information. EVERYONE has their own opinion about what is best.
I have personally tried every food type; from prepackaged complete raw to homemade complete raw, to commercially canned and literally EVERY brand of dry kitten and adult cat kibble, and have had little success getting my cats to eat the same darn thing. They just all have their individual likes and dislikes. They are in agreement that raw- regardless of the source (even mice!) is not for them. My advice is- don't listen to ANYONE who tells you what to feed your cat. As long as you are feeding a food labeled as being for a KITTEN with a HIGH PROTEIN and nutritional balanced ingredients, and offer a 24/7 fresh water source (I use several plug-in pet water fountains!) you're on the right track!
My "kitten clients" all receive "going home" paperwork-at the time of kitten reservation- which includes helpful information on topics such as, preparing for your new little one, proper diet, recommended Maine Coon specific necessities, introducing a new kitten to its new home, and more! If you ever have a question about anything Maine Coon related- feel free to reach out!
If you've seen photos of what appear to be gigantic Maine Coons- don't be fooled! Some people take photos of their cats using camera angles that make the cat look much larger than their true size. And normally, the people doing this, won't give the cats actual measurements and weights, when asked. I know- I've asked a few. While larger-than-average Maine Coons are appealing- remember that Maine Coons are already prone to size-related diseases and medical conditions. The larger we try to make (or breed) these wonderful animals- we also increase their propensity for disease and earlier (than average) death. Tiny Titans mission is to breed HEALTHY animals who will live long, happy lives. With that said, our cats will fall into the AVERAGE Maine Coon size/weight category. We will not breed purposefully to increase their size.
What will your kitten prices be?
Our kittens will be priced based on color, age, and overall kitten quality, as well as demand in our area.
At certain times of the year if there there are higher numbers of Maine Coon kittens being born in our general (Ohio) area, prices would naturally be lower. Prices may change at any time.
Due to the health testing that we do, compared to other breeders, our kittens will be priced bet. $2300-$3200.
For payment, we accept; cash, most major credit/debit cards, Google Pay, and Affirm (Buy Now Pay Later financing). Note that the Affirm financing option can only be used for the remaining balance, after the reservation deposit fee has been paid using another form of payment.
If a kitten is unavailable, it's bio will be updated AND it's individual "Reserve Me" button will be missing. When the kitten gets closer to it's going home age, you will be sent a "balance due" invoice. You will not need to pay the invoice until within 24 hours before the kitten is ready to go home. If remaining balance is being paid in CASH, please bring that at kitten pick-up.
What colors of kittens will you be expecting?
Should all of our intended breeders pass their health testing, etc., we expect to have all colors EXCEPT for solid white. Also, we expect our kittens to have the normal numbers of toes (no polydactyl kittens expected within the next two years). While blue-eyed kittens may result from some pairings, we do not expect to breed blue-eyed dominant kittens.
You had kittens born, what do I do next? As soon as the kittens are born, we will send the announcement out first, to our subscribers, and within the week, post to this site and our social media pages (Facebook/Instagram/TikTok). Between four & five weeks of age, a "KITTENS" tab will be added to our website with litter photos, info, and price for each kitten. Our adoption questionnaire/application will be opened (posted) on an "ADOPTION APPLICATION" tab.
The adoption questionnaire/application must be submitted. It will be reviewed and information verified, and submitters notified-usually within 48-72 hours- of approval or denial. If approved, you will be able to choose your kitten/s and pay the deposit fee to have that kitten listed as "reserved".
Regardless of kitten price, the reservation deposit amount is $250./per kitten. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. To reserve a kitten, please use the "RESERVE ME" box near to each kitten's bio on the "KITTENS" page.
If this is your first time owning or having a cat as a pet- note that it is physically and socially unhealthy for a kitten not to grow up around another kitten/cat. With that in mind, we give a discount on kittens going home together from the same litter. If you are an approved adopter and choose more than one kitten, the deposit amount for each kitten is $200., and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Deposits are deducted from the total purchase price of the kitten.
Final payment is due no later than 24 hours before- or at time of- kitten pick-up.
What are the terms of your purchase contract and spay/neuter agreement?
You can find our purchase contract, including our spay/neuter agreement (for perusal & informational purposes only) __HERE__.
When you have kittens available, can I come see the kittens prior to adopting?
Due to the need to protect the health of our cats and maintain a clean, disease-free environment, we do not plan to allow visitors or allow tours. IN-PERSON kitten visits are only offered to kitten customers who have paid a deposit to reserve a kitten and are by appointment only AFTER the kittens have received their 1st set of vaccinations.
Once kittens become "available" on our website, photos and videos of any kitten/s you would like to see, as well as video meetings (via Zoom or other video platform) with us and our kittens can be requested.
Can I be added to a waitlist?
In short, we have no plan to keep waitlists nor do we plan to accept reservation fees for kittens until the kittens are actively posted on this website.
Once we have kittens available, our goal will be to find the best homes for them, where they will be forever loved and spoiled. Sometimes that’s the first person that expresses an interest and sometimes the very last person. Once a pregnancy is confirmed (via ultrasound) and a litter is expected- we will announce it on our Facebook page, as well as on this website.
What tests do you do on your breeding cats?
All of our potential breeding cats have had; routine & yearly health exams with our veterinarian, all age appropriate and required vaccinations; a dental cleaning if needed.
DNA testing (for & including);
Factor XII Deficiency- variant I, Factor XII Deficiency-variant II, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), MDR1 Medication Sensitivity, Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), Pyruvate Kinase (PK) Deficiency, Cystinuria Type B- variant III, and more.
Echocardiograms;
Heart problems (primarily hypertrophic cardiomyopathy [HCM]) is more prevalent in Maine Coons than even hip dysplasia. On top of genetic testing, each of our cats will have had at around age 1-to screen for indications of heart disease- an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) preformed by a board certified veterinary cardiologist- and yearly exams while the cat is actively being used in our breeding program.
Radiographic X-ray hip screenings;
To date, the specific cause of feline hip dysplasia has not been identified. Although the condition is widely thought to have a genetic component, since it seems to be more prevalent in certain breeds, other environmental factors, such as rapid growth and obesity, appear to play a causative role in the development of the disability. Due to these facts, we have decided that as long as our cats can be shown to not be genetically predisposed to the condition (their parents are clear of the disease and our cats test clear via DNA genetic testing), are healthy and of the appropriate weight, show no signs or symptoms of possible mobility issues- and as long as they are exhibiting normal behavior- our cats will not be radiographically screened for hip dysplasia until 2 years of age. They will then be screened on a yearly basis while the cat is actively being used in our breeding program.
Note: Due to the potential for scammers to steal important information from documents shared online, each of our breeding cats health tests and health screening results are available upon request. We will also happily provide our veterinarian's contact info- just reach out to us!
What do your kittens "come with"?
Our kittens will leave our home well socialized and fully litter trained. They will have been seen by our veterinarian for a physical exam at least twice, be treated for parasites (precautionary only for very young kittens) at least twice, be up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccinations (incl. initial rabies), fecal tested for parasites, and treated with a combo preventative for fleas/ticks/heartworms, etc., (usually not needed in our home-but we will either apply, or supply to buyer, their 1st treatment dose), microchip implanted, vet/vaccination records, and a "going home" gift bag containing; a couple of cans of wet kitten food & a small bag of their current dry food (if any)- to transition them to the food of your choice), a few of their favorite toys, a small blanket (with their littermates scent to help them adjust once at their new home), two combs, and a dual-sided brush. They will also have the buyers (signed) purchase agreement (w/spay/neuter contract), purchase receipt, and our direct contact information.
If picking up from our home, you will need to bring an appropriate carrier for transport- we do not suggest letting the kitten run freely in your vehicle, not only is this unsafe in the event of an accident, some vehicles have large enough areas under the dash where a kitten, even a Maine Coon, can become stuck and/or injured.
Note- Our signed health guarantee, the kitten's microchip transfer paper, and the kitten's breeder slip/pedigree registration paperwork- will NOT be sent until proof of spay/neuter has been received by us. It will then be mailed to you.
If we are meeting you at John Glenn International for kitten transfer, we will also provide, free of charge, a TSA approved, soft-sided carrier to transport your kitten safely home and a harness and leash (to ensure your kitten is under your control while holding them and walking through the XRay/body scanner. The carrier is the perfect size to fit UNDER the seat in front of you (we've been there done that!) so you can keep a good eye on your little one while flying.
Dependent upon circumstances, we may decide that a kitten will be spayed/neutered prior to leaving our cattery, if that is done, all health guarantee and pedigree papers will be provided upon kitten pick-up/delivery.
Do you offer pet health insurance?
No, we do not offer a free trial of pet health insurance. My correspondence with other breeders suggests that some new kittens owners have been reporting issues with transferring their coverage to a new company (due to costs) or are having problems after transferring coverage.
As the cost for Maine Coon health care can be very high, and we want to be able to give our family the best treatment options available, pet insurance IS highly recommended. Googling, "pet health insurance", will help you find the perfect plan and pricing for your new kitten. Note that it is important to get this coverage as soon as you bring your new little one home!
Do you offer a health guarantee?
YES! Our cats come with a 2 (two) and 5 (five) year guarantee from certain genetic diseases. To read our health guarantee, click HERE.
One of my main goals when deciding to become a breeder was to do everything in the best interest of my cats, their offspring, and the new owners of my babies. My top priority is to produce the healthiest cats possible and to place them into homes where they will be loved and cared for like one of the family for their lifetime. We all know though, that due to outside environmental factors, once a kitten leaves our home, guaranteeing any animals' health 100% is not statistically possible. If a problem does arise however, we still want you to be confident that we are here for you and will work towards a solution with you. We would love to stay in contact with you for the life of your kitten and receive occasional updates, including photos!) on how it is doing and maturing!
Will you offer breeding rights?
No, not at this time.
If, in future and once our line is established, we decide to offer breeding rights, this page will be updated to reflect that.
Lifetime Support- What if something happens and I can no longer care for my kitten/cat?
Please get in touch with us immediately! We know that things can happen out of our control and situations can change. We can work with you to help find a solution. We will take back any of our kittens or cats, no questions asked, and travel at our expense to retrieve the cat, if a re-homing or surrendering scenario arises. Please, just get in touch!
If I adopt a kitten from you, will you deliver or ship it to me?
Shipping: we do not offer or support "shipping" kittens, regardless of destination.
Pick-up: you can either pick your kitten up in person from our home (by appointment) or we can arrange to meet you at our local airport (John Glenn Columbus International) free of charge, to hand your kitten over directly to you to ride IN CABIN with you. We do not send kittens home in a cargo scenario!
We can also suggest a pet "nanny" service to you, should you wish to hire an outside person to pick-up and bring your kitten to you. Please contact us if you would like more info on this. Note that the fees for this type of service vary widely and are IN ADDITION to the price of the kitten deposit and purchase cost and must be coordinated with the nanny service by you prior to arranging your pick-up date.
If you have any other questions not addressed, or just want to clarify anything, please feel free to send an email by clicking here!
We are excited to be starting this wonderful journey and look forward to making your Maine Coon kitten dreams come true!
